In his defense, it's Tendo's bachelor party and they have to send him off right, because he's like a brother to them and Alison's a great girl but if Tendo doesn't have even a small headache tomorrow, something's wrong. Yancy and Raleigh planned everything and brought the whole team out with them and no strip clubs, we know Tendo. Just sports bar/grill/casual hang out place with good beer and friends and there's probably a game playing in the background but Yancy couldn't even tell you what sport it was or who was playing and he's the one who likes that most out of all of them.
He's also distracted, because Naomi Sokolov and her sister are at the same bar. Or at least he thinks it's her sister, could be a friend too or even a girlfriend because he actually has no idea what team she bats for but he's going with sister until proven otherwise because they look a lot alike and he's pretty sure he remembers her from somewhere and wasn't Naomi's sister there that first night they met? Yeah, she was, okay it has to be her sister, also Naomi can't be a lesbian because he's too attracted to her for her to be.
Or something. Don't ask Yancy Becket to explain his reasoning while drunk.
When she heads up to the bar to get something, he makes the excuse of needing another round, tequila this time my man you can never have enough tequila and Raleigh's probably the only one who knows what he's really up to but his brother is his best friend and just smirks at him but doesn't tell anyone that Yancy's buying a round of six shots of tequila because he wants an excuse to lean against the bar next to Naomi. But it's a pretty good excuse, you have to admit.]
[ You are a funny guy, Yancy Becket. Yes, that is most definitely her older sister. No, Naomi is not a lesbian, but that has absolutely nothing to do with whatever attraction he might have towards her... though, it might have everything to do with the attraction she has towards him.
The Sokolov sisters do drinks and catch-up every now and then because it's just their kind of thing, so they've been at the bar a good long while laughing over drinks and ordering finger food. It's only when there cheers erupt from several tables down thataway that she realizes that someone she recognizes is in the room and is that a bachelor party? It actually makes her smile and gets her gaze to linger a little longer than usual because while handsome men aren't a weakness, this one certainly looks the exception.
She excuses herself to grab their bottle from the bar, because she's pretty sure he looked over and held her gaze for a bit when she looked over and waited for him to turn and no, Kara, not introducing you to the hot guy, bye sis, see you in five minutes -- or not.
When he leans on the bar to her right she offers him an easy smile. ] Could say the same for you. [ He might look a little flushed from alcohol, but his words aren't slurred, so that's one point for you, Agent Becket. ] What's the occasion? [ she nods to his friends. ]
[Yancy can hold his liquor okay. He's going to have one hell of a hangover tomorrow but tonight, he'll at least be able to ensure that both the groom to be and his little brother make it home in one piece and that's really all that matters. Raleigh can care for his headache in the morning.]
[ Tendo...? Oh yes. The incorrigible Tendo Choi. She smiles at that and glances over to the groom-to-be once, and murmurs ] Congratulations are in order then. Whoever the bride is, is definitely lucky. [ Because bachelor party with the boys at a bar&grill, fairly tame, since she's sure that the place doesn't allow strippers.
She only half-hears when he comments about joining, actually blinks before her brain registers the words in the right order. ] Oh, no. It's okay. [ There is a reason why it's called a Bachelor Party, agent. ] You boys have fun. My sister and I are just catching up. Girl's night, [ she supplies ] kind of our thing.
[There's a running joke that Alison stole Tendo away from him and Yancy's made a few sly comments that Tendo better watch how much he drinks tonight because Yancy's got the rings and it's not that far to Atlantic City, buddy.]
Oh come on. The guys'll love it. Tendo doesn't do the whole stripper thing, and that's great but it's not a real bachelor party without some pretty girls crashing it.
