PREMISE
All the stories are true. Years ago, the Fae came out because technology was making it harder and harder for them to hide, and it's been a couple of years since the werewolves did the same. The world is changing day by day. Humans and the paranormal live side by side, but it's not easy nor is it simple. While the Marrok has taken great lengths and care to preserve the werewolves' PR front, everyone - wolf, fae, vampire and other - know that it's only a matter of time before the humans start thinking that perhaps the other stories meant to warn of the dark are true. This is an open post set in the universe of Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson series. The books are amazing and you should definitely check them out. More information via this Wiki link. The rules are simple: Drop a prompt, leave a tag, and let's play!
THREAD TRACKING

Much in the way that Asil manages now, with far different methods. She understands exactly what he's doing every step of the way, and while her body appreciates his attentions immensely, as she arches under him when his tongue finds her nipple once more, and the muscles of her stomach quiver as he moves lower, in the back of her mind she can't help but appreciate that he's brought his hundreds of years of experience to bear down on her.
He knows the little things her body craves, the things that so many men have overlooked in the past, before she can even think to ask him for them. With his fingers tucked beneath her knees, she spreads her legs a little wider in invitation, never mind that they are still pacing themselves. Cheeks flushed, chest rising and falling with her shortened breaths, Eun reaches forward to run her fingers through his hair, tongue slipping out to wet her lips.
She does not expect him to take her hand, and show not just how sensitive the nerves there can be, but give her a show of things to come in their future. Her eyes drift almost closed as she watches him, lips parted on the beginnings of soft sounds.]
You're--you're assuming I'm going to be able to sleep at night after this, Asil.
[And if this is how their morning is, Eun's not certain just how the rest of their day will go. Her free hand slips down his neck to his chest, stroking him as far as she can reach with growing urgency.]

He wants to kiss her again, so he does. So he crawls up over her body so that he fingers have the option not just to touch his chest if she wishes it. And he hovers his mouth over hers, their breaths mingling in time to the warmth of their bodies. ]
Is that an admission that you will think of me tonight and tomorrow?
[ He's not shy about asking for a trade in pleasure. And if anything, when he rocks his hips against her open hand, she will know that while he wants her, he will honor their agreement. ]
no subject
Asil brings out a side of her she did not know existed, and she welcomes him eagerly above her once more, face tilting toward his as her eyes close, as she breathes in his scent once more and radiates in the heat of his body. She opens her mouth to answer his question, to admit that yes, he'll be in her thoughts when she is alone in bed that night, and again throughout the next day.
But his hips have pressed against her hand, and she finds herself cupping him through his pants. There is no shock on Eun's face at the sudden intimacy, but relief. She groans and responds at once, hand stroking over him through the denim, finding obvious pleasure in being allowed to do this. If she is mistaken in what he meant for her to do, she may apologize for the misunderstanding, but in the moment she simply steals his mouth for a searing kiss, holding him tightly with her free hand as the other shows a hint of what skills she would bring to his bed.
When she breaks the kiss, her movements only slow, and she draws her teeth over his lower lip with a groan.]
Tonight I will think about you, when I've slid into my bed at the end of the evening. I will think about you, and this morning, and take pleasure in the fact that even while you are here, you will know it, and be thinking about me tonight as well.
[Two can play the game. She can flatter him with the truth, and turn it back on him. It will not just be thoughts of him that occupies her.]
no subject
[ He covers her body with his own, one arm folding agaonst the couch while the other moves up and down the side of her leg in a needyl caress. When he breaks off the kiss to occupy himself with her neck, he whispers lovely promises half-murmured in a mix of his native tongue.
Perhaps, if she will not provide him a list, he may offer suggestions of what he would like to do. ]
I liked it, when you pinned me to the fridge. I hope you do not mind me confessing that I like when we skirt the terms of our agreement.
[ Purring against her cheek now. ] Because I enjoy it very much when your breath goes shallow, just like this.
[ She smells of flowers and desire, of honey and the sweet lure of arousal. He can picture himself losing himself in the warmth of her skin, and touching her to distraction. ]
no subject
And Asil...despite being a dominant werewolf, he seems to appreciate the parts of her that are dominant as well. She twists beneath him, finding his shoulder to flick her tongue against him, to suck at his skin as if werewolves could be marked that way.]
I liked pinning you to the fridge. If we were not taking it slower I'd pin you naked beneath me on this couch and make you moan for me the way you did a moment ago. [She kisses his shoulder again, confessing more easily when she is not looking at him.] I want...
[She wants him. She knows that she wants him and she does not want to take it slow, when she could have her pleasure and still take her time getting to know him. But he enjoys teasing her, and Eun would not deny him even if she is often too impatient to suffer from wanting.]
I like the way you get into my personal space. How you touch me even when you're not trying to drive me crazy. And I think I may have to make you cookies just for the things your tongue and your mouth do to my nipples. I often like it rougher, harder too, but it's already hard to hold myself back with just this. [She opens her eyes then, nuzzling against his cheek with a shuddered breath.] And my wolf likes you almost as much as I do.

When he mouths at her neck next, the roll of his hip is deliberately slower - enough to stoke the fires of their mutual desire without altogether escalating things further.
She has gone without touch for so long, as has he. And he does not want their dance to be over before it's even begun.
Asil sets a knee on the couch, covering her body with his even as he climbs in. His hands continue to caress her, as if memorizing the lines and curves of her form. He wants her, but he does not want to rush past the terms of their agreement, but neither does he want to drop the precious thing that is growing between them.
Roses, by his experience, are fragile, not in appearance, but because they require care and patience. She has become precious to him and his wolf, their young and passionate Eun. ]
It is reassuring to hear that you and your wolf approve of us, mi amor. [ He nips gently at her mouth, the gesture accompanying way he traces a hand down the line of her stomach before it comes back up again to stroke her chin with his fingertips. ] Because it is the same for us.
no subject
She shivers at the nip of his teeth, and with a smile she wraps her arms around him.]
Is that all you have to say to all of that?
[Eun's hands urge him closer, but it feels like the way they're positioned doesn't really lend itself toward long-term comfort. Sensing perhaps that they may yet begin to slow down once more, as they might have earlier if the oven hadn't interrupted them, Eun urges him to follow her down to the couch proper. She stretches out against the back, trying to draw him near with arms, expression clearly inviting but also without intent for more than they've done.]
Just wait until I don't have to hold back as much.
no subject
No, that is not all I have to say. [ He's kissing her again, his free hand skimming over her hip and her thigh, an invitation to drape her leg over his own. ] But I think, if I'm to resist the urge to make love to you, I will have to keep my thoughts to myself.
[ He only half means it. Pillow talk is an equally acceptable pasttime.
The wolf is peering lazily from behind his eyes, lightening the deep brown of his gaze to a rough amber. ]
When the time comes, Eun, I will most definitely welcome you not holding back.
no subject
Her eyes flick toward his as she sees the rise of his wolf, but for once instinct has her skipping past them rather than lingering. She looks over his face, his neck, the way his body rests against hers. Eun draws her hand over his arm, palm moving first and fingers trailing after as it slides up and down over bare skin.]
I wonder if you'll enjoy all I have to say, if I'm being honest. You're talking to a girl who has never once uttered the words "make love" together in her entire life. The things I might say to you may seem crude by comparison.
[He's a beautiful, elegant man of obvious taste, from a time when manners were far more widespread. The differences in their ages seems of little consequence when they are both werewolves who will be long lived and seem about the same age. But would he still enjoy the sides of her that are rougher and unpolished? He treats her better than any man she's ever met; it's obvious he respects her and has no interest in changing who she is. But she hasn't shown him all of her sides yet.]

He's lived throughout periods where courtship swung from simple to inordinately complex. But for the most part, he's never had to concern himself with learning what is acceptable and what isn't beyond the universally known if not universally practiced concept of mutual consent.
His mating with Sarai had been a partnership, unencumbered by the power struggle that other wolves know. What is growing (he hopes) not so slowly between him and Eun is close to that but also different.
For his part, he wonders if he does not seem antiquated to her.
But her shift in tone is not lost to him, so he leans in and nuzzles her brow, shoulders curling inward as if to shelter her from unhappy thoughts. ]
Crude has a unique place between the sheets, querida. I am not so old to turn my nose up at words less inclined to poetry and more towards honesty.
no subject
Or out of it, as the case would likely be with them.
Eun accepts the way he leans in toward her, face lifting toward his to receive the nuzzling he offers.]
That is one way to put it, but I'm glad to hear it. Because one day I am going to say some scathingly unladylike things to you, and I would rather they excite you than repulse you.
[Sighing, she closes her eyes, shifting her leg down his body somewhat to get more comfortable.]
no subject
Perhaps I will enjoy watching you do so. Or sit back and enjoy just how the other residents of Aspen Creek will take to it.
[ They are all old and some of the wolves would likely wince to hear crude language from young girls. But Eun is not so young, and he thinks that he would enjoy it. ]
But if you must eventually use such language with me, Eun, I suppose I will have done something to deserve it.
no subject
Depending on the circumstances I would say it would be almost certain that if I do, you will have.
[She has no issues speaking her mind when pissed, and similarly will be glad to divulge a number of the dirty things she has in mind when they are done taking things slow.]
And if not you, then it might have been someone else who's earned it.
no subject
And yet here they are: Eun stretched out beside him on his couch, idly touching him and occasionally meeting his gaze, while he indulges in nuzzling her skin, murmuring flirtations into her ear, and basking in her company. ]
I will bear that in mind.
[ He indulges in touching her again - fingers stroking her arm as he watches the way she looks curled up beside him. ] Will you stay a while?
[ They had discussed breakfast the evening before, but not much else, and he's finding himself hoping she does not have much else to do today. ]
no subject
She waits until his hand is closer once more, and bends down briefly to kiss his fingers.]
I had hoped to. I brought a couple books with me. I wanted to read by your roses, since you said you planned to take care of them this morning.
[While Eun doesn't need space now, doesn't hope for it, she wants to know if they'll be as comfortable in the silence and distance, each doing their own thing, as she thinks they would be.]
My plans are whatever I want them to be today.
no subject
Excellent. Then we shall enjoy each other's company in other ways as well.
[ From where they are right now, he peripherally notes his garden and breathes out contentedly at the idea of her with her books as he works. ]
What books did you bring? [ They spoke of poetry last night and he wonders if she would mind reading out loud for his pleasure. ]
no subject
A novel I didn't have a chance to read on the plane last week, and one of my favorite books of poetry, since we'd talked about it. [Great minds think alike.] But I'd enjoy watching you work and talking too.
[It does not seem like a stretch to say she'd enjoy watching him work on anything with his hands, but there is something about a man working the earth, even in a greenhouse, that appeals to her.]
no subject
Tell me about this poet whose work you like very much.
[ A body can learn a lot about another by knowing that they read. ]
no subject
She's a poet based in Texas. Her name is K.Y. Robinson. I shared a poem from her first collection, The Chaos of Longing. [Voice quiet and level, she glances up at Asil with a small, wry smile.] It was honestly the dedication that hooked me. Before you even get to the contents, there's a page with a small blurb, and it says "To those who lie awake burning."
[She wants to study his face, to see what he thinks of that before he even says anything, but Eun decides not to put the pressure on him.]
It's a different style from the poem you shared. Simpler, shorter truths on stark pages.
no subject
And are all the poems about love and heartbreak?
[ Both are themes that withstand the ages. There is a touch of amusement on his features as he peers down at her, one brow lifted in question. ]
no subject
No, not all of them. Some of them have nothing to do with love. I can show you if you want, since I don't have anything else from that book memorized.
[She doesn't want to get up, doesn't want to leave the warmth of his body and their comfortable position, body relaxed enough to enjoy him with the pressure and demand for desire clamoring within.]
no subject
He shifts, restless for the comfort she brings him. Reaching up, he tips her lips up to his. ] Indulge me a little longer. I do wish to hear you read your favorites, but I find I would enjoy your company like this for a bit more.
[ He shifts to his side, hooking his foot behind hers as he presses near again. The kiss he initiates is slow and exploring, more comfort than play or teasing. ]
What themes do you enjoy in the books you read - poetry or otherwise.
no subject
I like poems about women who are not soft and weak. [Again, she smiles. A knowing look in her eyes, because anyone who knows her even a little will not find it surprising.] I like words that talk of triumphs over struggles, or losses and burdens that are...relatable. But for novels, I usually read things that are lighter. Mysteries, usually. Fiction, if it's not too pretentious. Sometimes science-fiction or fantasy. Occasionally a romance, if it's an author I know who will write it well. What about you and your literary preferences?
no subject
He leans his forehead to Eun's, happy to learn a little more about her like this. When she tells him that her poetic preferences run deeper than mere odes to love, he is unsurprised. ]
I am afraid I have not read books in a while, [ he brushes an errant strand from her forehead, using it as an excuse to also stroke her cheer. ] I do not like smudging dirt onto pages, so when I do not have company, I listen to podcasts instead.
[ Before the advent of the internet, it had been the radio and records. But Kara had seized his laptop and phone and insisted that he sign up for a Spotify account. When the advertisements kept on interrupting perfectly good playlists, he could not help but pay for the service in earnest. ]
no subject
Still, only part of her wishes to ask about the podcasts he listens to, because the other half is taken by all of his idle touches. They make her wonder if it has been so very long for him as well. If he touches her for her, or if he half does it for his own pleasure of having another person to touch this way. Or, perhaps, it is neither of these things, and as before he seeks to explore her in quieter ways.]
I've only listened to a couple myself, but they didn't really hook me the way that music does. But maybe if I gardened as much as you obviously do, I might change my mind. What do you usually follow?
